Delete Your Kind Account

Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)

• Open Kind and tap your profile icon (Me tab) in the bottom right.
• Tap Settings, then Privacy.
• Scroll to the bottom — “Delete My Account” is the last option, below the Always-On Protection section.
• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Option 2: Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email info@kind.date with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and include the phone number your account was created with. We verify the request against that phone number and begin deletion within a few business days. We will confirm by reply once deletion has started.

What happens when you delete

• Your profile disappears from Kind immediately.
• A 30-day grace period begins. If you change your mind, sign back in within 30 days to cancel the deletion.
• After 30 days, deletion is permanent: profile records, photos, messages, matches, contact blocklist entries, push tokens, Kind+ application records, and related app data are removed.
• We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or audit purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions are cancelled separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your device’s store settings: on iOS under Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or on Android in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions.
